【摘要】:Theenergyinputrateisusedtoconfirmthatthedelicaseisoperatingproperlypriortofurthertesting.Holdingtemperaturerangeisusefulforfoodserviceoperatorsinselectingaunitthatmatchestheirholdingrequirements.Capacityisusedbyfoodserviceoperatorstochooseadelicasethatmatchestheirfoodholdingrequirements.Preheatenergyandtimecanbeusefultofoodserviceoperatorstomanageenergydemandsandtoknowhowquicklythedelicasecanbereadyforoperation.Holdingenergyrateandidleenergyratecanbeusedbythefoodserviceoperatortoestimatedelicaseenergyconsumption.1.1Thistestmethodevaluatestheenergyconsumptionandperformanceofself-servehotdelicases.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusethisevaluationtoselectadelicaseandunderstanditsenergyconsumptionandperformance.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletoelectric,fullyopenorpartiallyopen,hotdelicasesthathavebeendesignedtoholdandmerchandiseprepackagedhotfood.Forstaff-servehotdelicases,refertoTestMethodF2472.1.3Thedelicasecanbeevaluatedwithrespecttothefollowing(whereapplicable):1.3.1Energyinputrate(10.2),1.3.2Energyandtemperatureattheminimumsetting(10.3),1.3.3Energyandtemperatureatthemaximumsetting(10.3),1.3.4Energyandtemperatureatthemanufacturer''srecommendedsetting(10.3),1.3.5Holdingcapacity(10.4),1.3.6Holdingtemperaturecalibration(10.4),1.3.7Preheatenergyrate(10.5),1.3.8Idleenergyrate(10.6),and1.3.9Holdingenergyrate(10.7).1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
